The Craft
Built by Hand. Driven by Obsession.
Every Lux Monster is the result of techniques perfected over centuries in the world's finest jewelry workshops. Here is how a figurine goes from concept to collector's shelf.

Character Design
Every Lux Monster starts as a pencil sketch. The character's personality, posture, and expression are developed long before any precious material is touched. Each creature has a name, a story, and a temperament that guides every design decision that follows.
The design phase is the longest. Getting the proportions right, ensuring the character has visual presence at only 8 centimeters tall, and planning exactly where each gem and gold element will sit requires dozens of iterations.

Material Selection
Gems are sourced individually. We work with trusted suppliers for Colombian emeralds, Burmese rubies, Ceylon sapphires, and ethically sourced diamonds. Each stone is inspected for clarity, color, and cut before being approved for a piece.
Gold is selected based on the character's design requirements. Some pieces call for the warm glow of 18K yellow gold. Others demand the cooler elegance of white gold or the romantic blush of rose gold. The metal is never an afterthought.
Casting process image
Precision Casting
The figurine body is cast using the lost wax method, the same technique used by fine jewelers for centuries. A master mold is created from the approved design, and each piece is individually cast in the specified metal alloy.
After casting, every piece is hand finished. Tool marks are removed, surfaces are polished or brushed to the specified texture, and the body is prepared to receive its gem settings.

Hand Setting
This is where the magic happens. Each gem is set by hand under magnification, using prong, bezel, or pave techniques depending on the design. A single figurine can require up to 20 hours of setting work.
The eyes are always set last. They define the character's soul and require the most precision. A fraction of a millimeter difference in eye placement changes the entire expression.
Authentication image
Authentication and Delivery
Every completed piece undergoes a final quality inspection. Gems are checked for security. Surfaces are examined under magnification. The keychain mechanism is tested for durability. Only pieces that pass every check receive a serial number.
The figurine is then photographed, paired with its numbered certificate of authenticity, and placed into a custom presentation box designed to protect and showcase the piece. Shipping is fully insured, globally tracked, and handled with the care the piece deserves.
