The Origin

Small creatures made from gold and stones that should not belong together.

Each one begins as a character, drawn and named.

Then it is built the way fine jewellery is built.

Solid 18K gold. Natural diamonds, rubies, sapphires. Set by hand.

Made in Thailand. The gold hallmarked between Bangkok and Hong Kong.

Numbered, recorded, and sent into the world for one person to find.

That is the beginning of the Lux Monsters.

The Work

Made by a jeweller. Not a toymaker.

Each body is stitched by hand. Each eye is a real stone, cut and set and weighed by a goldsmith in a small workshop. The gold is solid 18 karat. Each piece is signed.

We did not invent this. We borrowed the techniques that make fine jewellery fine and used them on something softer.

Kept in a Ledger

Every body is signed, numbered, and entered into a record. If you own one, we know. If someone sells you a fake, we know that too.

Only Real Things

Solid 18-karat gold settings. Natural stones you can weigh. Real materials, set by hand. The things you can break are the things that last.

Numbered and Final

Each edition is numbered and closed. When a piece is gone, it is gone. We will not make it again.
